>>SEXUAL ASSAULTS ON CAMPUS--Sexual assaults on campus are at epidemic levels. Colleges are criticized for under-reporting the incidence of campus sexual assaults. The issue is complicated by privacy laws, which make investigations difficult. [1]

>> TUITION BREAKS FOR ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS--Metro State College of Denver is instituting reductions of tuition costs for illegal immigrants despite the fact the Colorado state legislature has rejected such a proposal and the Colorado Attorney General has pronounced such a move by Metro State as against the law.

>> FUNDING OF HIGHER EDUCATION—Colorado ranks 48th in local funding of higher education. This ranking, however, is disputed, based on how the statistic is compiled.

>> IMABALANCED ENROLLMENT (GENDER IMBALANCE IN MAJORS)—Imbalanced enrollment (gender imbalance in majors) – by Speak Out – CU Independent – Feb. 25, 2010

>> MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES AVAILABILITY IN COMMUNITY COLLEGES—Lack or inadequacy of professional mental health service availability at Arapahoe Community College and other community colleges. Would such a resource improve student retention and success?
